Daml Hub Feature Delivery - Share my ledger
Daml Hub is delighted to have delivered the ‘Share My Ledger’ feature this week which allows developers to share a Daml Hub ledger with their colleagues so that multiple people can develop on a ledger from different Daml Hub accounts.
The ‘Share My Ledger’ feature allows Daml Hub users to share their ledgers with other Daml Hub Enterprise users so that they can view and upload dars, configure the ledger and view logs, etc. This removes the need to share login details and enables everyone who needs to work on that ledger to do so from their own Daml Hub Enterprise account.
To get started, Daml Hub Enterprise customers can share their ledgers in two ways:
- From the Workspace view, use the drop down options menu (with the cog icon) in the top right hand corner of your Project and select “Share ledger”. In the “Share Ledger” module select a ledger and then add collaborators to that ledger by providing their user id which can be found in the collaborator’s account settings - more details on how to find that here.
- From the ledger console, navigate to the Collaborators tab and click “Add Collaborator” in the top right corner of the screen. In the “Add Collaborator” module, add collaborators by providing their user id which can be found in the collaborator’s account settings - more details on how to find that here.
